Flagler Palm Coast High School (FPC) is located West of I95 just off of SR100. FPC was built in 1974, resides on 18 acres, and rest against the Town Center. There are innovated administrators at FPC which help guide students and make their learning experiences a positive one. There is a wide range of subject matters at FPC ranging from culinary arts to theory of knowledge. The academics are incredible and prepares students for the future with a welcoming environment.
There is a wide and balanced range of honor programs which prepare students for college. Over 80% of FPC students attend college and some get a head start by entering dual enrollment. Dual enrollment allows students to take college courses and advanced placement can allow students to earn a significant amount of college credits, or achieve a college AA degree prior to graduating high school.
FPC also offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program in which students compete with other students from all over the world. This worldwide program has curriculums in literature, math, science, and the arts. Seniors and juniors take over 500 AP & IB exams yearly, with FPC students scoring 10% higher than the worldwide average in math and science. IB programs offer all students a broad and challenging spectrum of courses to excel students in the classroom and beyond.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses are provided at FPC to prepare students for today’s competitive workforce and are specific for each students desired trade. There have been many success stories of students coming out of FPC that have exceled in these learned trades. Some of these courses include: Tv production, graphic design, and web development. There are also vocational courses such as culinary, automotive, construction, and agriculture which better prepare the students for the challenges of tomorrow.
Clubs and activities are encouraged in FPC. This help build character, social abilities, and make better citizens for the future. There are many clubs and activities in which the students can participate. Some include: Habitat for Humanity, future problem solvers, student government, performing arts, photography, community service, teen trend setters, and R.O.T.C.
Sports have been a long tradition at FPC producing many champions at the district, region, and state levels while providing focus and positive environment for the students. Some of FPC athletes have exceled to state champion levels, made it to NFL, and even competed in the Olympics. Some of the sports include: football, wrestling, cross country, soccer, baseball, cheer, lacrosse, and basketball.
Students are assure to have the best chance of exceeding to the highest levels when attending FPC, where the sky has no limit.
